Peer-Review Process
Intelligent Management and Development Strategies follows a double-blind anonymous peer-review process, ensuring the highest standards of academic integrity, fairness, and objectivity. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process to prevent potential conflicts of interest.
Steps in the Peer-Review Process:
-
Initial Editorial Screening: The submitted manuscript is reviewed by the editorial office for compliance with journal scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards.
-
Plagiarism Check: All manuscripts undergo a plagiarism scan using iThenticate.
-
Assignment to Reviewers: Manuscripts that pass the initial check are sent to two or three qualified independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject matter.
-
Review Evaluation: Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the journal’s aims.
-
Editorial Decision: Based on reviewers’ feedback, the editor-in-chief makes one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
-
Revision Stage: Authors are expected to address reviewer comments comprehensively and resubmit the revised manuscript within the specified time frame.
-
Final Decision and Proofing: Once accepted, the article undergoes final copyediting and proofreading before publication.
The typical review period ranges from four to six weeks, depending on the complexity of the manuscript and reviewer availability. The journal strictly adheres to ethical review standards following the COPE and Elsevier guidelines on responsible peer review.
